Prince can be traced back to our beginning with Milen's collies on his dam's side. His sire's side is a very strong blend of Tartanside and Valley Park collies. CH Tartanside Allegiance ROM and CH Fantasy's Bronze Talisman ROM feature prominently in his pedigree on both the sire and dam's sides. The special sauce was in his sire GCH Valley Park Barnstormer AOM ROM.
His prominence in the show ring started at six months and one day when he picked up his first major. He finished quickly at a young age, and waited to mature before returning to the show ring where he earned multiple grand champion major BOV wins under esteemed judges Hilde Morgan and Nioma Coen and a group 3 placement under judge Richard Lashbrook to complete his Grand Championship. He followed this with a BOS to BOB win at Central Iowa Collie Club under esteemed breeder judge Adria Weiner.

Kelce's expression, structure, head detail, and temperament insured he will always have a place at Juell's Collies. We searched for two years to find the right sire for Hope. We strongly considered breeding to his sire, GCHG Southland Aurealis Island Nights "Kasen", ROM - 2023 CCA BOB, until we found his son CH Barksdale Skydancer I Declare "Wesley", whose dam was GCHB Belleville's Mancatcher Annie "Little" - Select Bitch 2023 CCA Nationals. The combination of the potency of Kasen's and Little's virtues through Wesley proved significant across multiple breedings settling our decision to breed to Wesley.
Kelce is still only just over 9 months old in the picture shown.
